I mistakenly synced my local OneDrive folder to the remote OneDrive using rclone, intending to update the remote with my local files. However, the sync went the wrong way, and now my local files are gone. Unfortunately, there’s nothing in the remote OneDrive Recycle Bin because all the files were originally on my local machine. I’m working on a Linux system and need to recover the deleted files from my local OneDrive folder. Is there a way to recover these files from the local Recycle Bin or any other method to restore them? Any advice or tools recommended for file recovery on Linux would be greatly appreciated! Hi guys We are using the OneDrive for Business. (Work) Around 6 months ago, I made a OD share with my colleague from the same organization. He was able to sync this share on his machine with the local OneDrive client. My colleague had a breake for 6 months, during this time he was not working on that share. Today he starts again with the work. We realized that it's not possible anymore, to sync the shared folder (where Im the owner of the share) with his local OneDrive Client. Accessing to the share over web is no problem. Why is that so? Is there a workaround? If not, this fact would make the cooperation work over OneDrive really useless. After research I did find this information: Source: Microsoft - Add and sync shared folders to OneDrive Thank you in advance.Solved8.4KViews0likes3CommentsFSLogix local userfolder with numbers
Hello, we got a problem with FSLogix. We are using FSLogix for about 3 years now and everything works, but there is a problem with the local folders (local_username folder). We got no redirections running, so there is just the default folders like temp being redirected in that local folder. As we got a new software which saves data temporary to the local_username\temp folder, we noticed that there is a problem with the folder creation / delete. FSLogix creates sometimes new local_username folders with numbers added. On some computers there are folders with numbers from e.g. 1-6. The actual used folder is the highest number. A problem now occures, because when logging on at another machine, the TEMP variable points at the local_username\temp folder with no number and this folder of course doesn't work because the acutal used folder set by fslogix is local_username5\temp for example. Why are these folders with additional numbers are being created and how to fix this? We can't find a solution. Thanks in advance for every help!473Views0likes1CommentPrevent User folders from caching locally
Hi @all, I do IT work for a company that uses profile redirection on all their workers machines which stores on a server. However, I noticed that user folders are being cached locally on every device and are accessible when not connected to the domain(IE, going into C:\Users and seeing the local folders and files of every user that has logged into a machine). How do I go about preventing the data from being cached so that if someone walks in and steals a computer there isn't any sensitive data being accessed? Or do I have to enable bitlocker on all devices? Thank you for your time.937Views0likes0Comments
