32 Topics[Solved] OneNote for Android Not Working
I have a Samsung Galaxy A32 running Android 12. A few days ago, Onenote started telling me was running offline and wanted me to sign in. There was a sign in button on the screen but tapping it did nothing. I could still update notes and the changes would appear on other devices. I should have left it alone, but... I uninstalled Onenote, restarted the phone, and reinstalled it. Since then, when accessing any notebook, the app tells me the notebook isn't open and asks if I'd like to open it. After I tap OK, it says "Sorry, we couldn't open the notes that you were looking for. They may have been moved or deleted, or you may not have permission to open them." It does this for every notebook I try to access. The notebooks are accessible on Windows machines, using the app or a browser. If I try to use a browser on the phone, it flips to the app, or if the app is not installed, the browser asks if I want to install it. There is no access to my notebooks via the browser on the phone. The last steps I've tried are: 1. Clear data from the app 2. Uninstall the app 3. Restart the phone 4. Install the app It takes me right back to where I was, unable to access my notebooks. I also have an old LG tablet running Android 7. After doing the above 4 steps, the results are the same as I get on the phone. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for it? Tnx!Solved23KViews0likes10CommentsOutlook Android/iOS app - send as distribution group

Before I switched from Comcast Business Exchange Account, I was able to set something in my Android phone to sync SMS messages to my Exchange account. Now that I use Office 365 Email for Business, I can't figure out how to set my Android 7 phone (Samsung S8) to continue syncing my SMS messages to my Office 365 Business email account. The usual methods of going to "setting" on the phone don't work. How do I link the two together again.14KViews1like3CommentsCan't change calendar events on outlook.office.com if created with Google Calendar on my phone

Multiple users on different handsets using Outlook for Android have been getting the above error when opening the app. Click on Fix and this resolves, but this is constantly happening. Have tried the built in Contact Support function, and they are useless. I have tried Deleting account, readding account resetting app deleting app, installing and configuring once more manually entering account details I've also raised this with MS Support, but after 11 days still no contact even though the support form says an engineer would contact me within ten minutes. Hopefully someone else has come across the same issue and can offer some advice.6.4KViews0likes3CommentsHow to assign colours to events on outlook calendar android app

A: Yes, that is the hint to the SDK that it is an MDM managed app. For more details, see How to manage data transfer between iOS apps in Microsoft Intune. Q: For Android Enterprise Devices in COBO, we are trying to launch OneDrive for our mobile users. Inside of the App Configuration Policy for managed device, I only see the “configuration key” for allowed accounts. Is there additional documentation that has more json keys so that we can automatically configure the app for the user? A: Managed Configuration (App Configuration) in Android Enterprise is pulled from Managed Google Play directly, so if the key is there, we’ll pull it directly. That being said, the key is IntuneMamAllowedAccountsOnly because it is the same key across all apps for the Intune SDK to find it. Here is the iOS documentation and here is the Android documentation. These docs also list the applications that support single account mode (require both the Intune SDK to be integrated and in-app logic by developers to support this mode). Q: Does the application protection policy work based on source only? For example, I have a Word document saved in SharePoint, so the policy applies there. Now let’s say I have the file inside my external hard disk as well, does the policy apply there too? Does the policy apply to both external and non-cloud sources? A: The policy is targeted based on the application and the identity signed into that app. This is about protecting the app. If you need the data wherever it resides, then that is a function of Microsoft Information Protection. Assigning MIP labels would protect the data itself, regardless of location. Feedback We hope you find this session useful. We are finding this to be more trouble than it's worth, starting from the set up experience. Enabling GCC access in iOS requires the unituitive act of going into iOS settings to enable it and the link to enable GCC in Android is almost invisible. Users miss it even when it's on the screen. Why can't a prompt to enable GCC acces be triggered automatically if you enter an email address that is a GCC tenant instead of the setup just failing? The restriction to a single email account is too restrictive because it doesn't allow you to even add another GCC account from the same tenant in the app. We have users who need to access their own GCC account plus a shared GCC mailbox. So, to do their job, they have to use an activesync client instead which makes the iOS app redundant. We are considering getting the "Government Community Cloud Bypass Waiver" to enable the functionality we need, but we don't fully understand everything that involves. If the waiver moves the entire tenant's data to less secure locations, that seems extreme just to make the Outlook app work the way we need it to. Most of our users are using the native iOS and Android active sync mail apps instead because the Outlook app is so restrictive that it isn't even worth using. Some of these settings need to be more configurable by the tenant without going to the drastic measure of having to completely abandon GCC to make a single app work. What can be done to fix this?2.5KViews0likes0Comments
