Yammer moving notes into Word Online documents

With regard to the coming change to Yammer notes -  Converting Yammer notes into Word Online documents:

Does anyone know what this means for the "Mark Official and Lock Changes" functionality that was on notes? Will it be possible to do something similar?

I've asked the Yammer team about this. Hopefully they reply here and update the FAQ guidance.

@Simon Denton @Steve Nguyen will the Yammer note files eventually move to the Yammer SP team site location for O365 connected Yammer groups?

I think eventually is the operative word. Not every customer is ready for Yammer + Office365 Groups but in time they will be.
