Yammer members removed

One of the group admin mentioned that there were close to 600 members removed automatically. Her group had 1800 members and now has 1150 members. Is this a known bug & is there a way to know if it was really removed using any Yammer reports available?

If so, through the Audit Log and the Office 365 Management API. Audit log would have had to have been on.
