Yammer-Groups integration

According to the O365 roadmap, the yammer-groups integration is fully deployed. But our yammer network shows no signs of this integration.

 

Should we wait some more or is it time to check with support?

Solution

You have to make sure your network is set up correctly for connected groups. You need to be a Global Admin in order for this to work, and it will only work (for now, we are told) with new groups in a home network, rolling out to other types of groups later.

 

1. Go into Network Admin, and select "Security Settings." 

2. Select "Enforce O365 Identity."

3. Right underneath that, Status should indicate "Committed."

 

This will work for both Public and Private groups, but it will not work with "secret" groups...those not listed in your group directory.

Thanks, I always checked with a secret group... with a regular private group I get the integration!

 

Also our Yammer group headers aren't updated yet, I thought this was linked with the O365 groups integration.

 

We got the new headers before we got the new groups. Maybe someone from @Yammer can tell us if everything rolled out at the same time, or if that process is ongoing.
