Yammer blog is only about success stories?

Super Contributor

After reading for the 10th time how you should engage users, etc, i just wonder why is Yammer the only blog on this TECH site not providing any technical stuff like new features and platform updates, support articles with help for usual problems. It seems in the forums there is enough questions from admins. Yet blog has become just a rehashing of similar ideas again and again. Don't know where to post about this (have even commented on the last blog post, though it might seems that i bash that one author, but this is just the latest one https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Yammer-Blog/7-Tips-to-Run-a-Successful-Yammer-Group/bc-p/4743...). I was not expecting such content when subscribing to that blog (it is ok occasionally, but not all the time). Maybe Yammer just don't have any actual news to share? Maybe i should just unsub and move on..

@wroot It's funny - someone complained on the Planner board there weren't any recent blog updates. So I guess when there is a gap between product updates it's a little bit of a damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Yammer is going to be part of the SharePoint Conference in May, so look for product related updates in that timeframe. In the meantime, it's nice that the Yammer blog has practical advice for how to better leverage the platform.

Well, it wasn't me complaining on the Planner blog :) I'm all for useful posts. And talking about engaging is useful. It is just felt like there was a few similar posts every week from different people (sometimes from same). Will see if they announce something new during that conference.
