Single Sign On Yammer / M365 - does the Yammer oAuth token now include an AAD claim?

Occasional Contributor

I was researching the following issue:

a user on a mobile device is authenticated in the Yammer App and clicks on a link in a Yammer post that guides him to an SPO Communication site in the same tenant.

The user needs to authenticate again to access SPO.

I found a comment in a discussion from 2019 that states:

The Yammer OAuth token does not include Azure Active Directory (AAD) claims, which is required for accessing files stored in SharePoint Online.

Is this still the case today? We have Yammer in "native mode" in our Office 365 tenant.

Thanks,
franck
