Searching Yammer

Hi all, I couldn't find the answer by using the search option in this community. So here is my question:

Can anybody confirm the Yammer search only works with full words? Searching parts of a word result in 0 results?

Example:

Trying to search: Yammer = 15 results

Trying to search the word: Yam = 0 results

I noticed the word: yam+* (yam*) does find the results.

Am i correct?

Yes, that's correct, you need the wildcard to expand the result, i.e.: test* = test, tests, testing, etc.
