Delegate Access to post on behalf of Admin

New Contributor

Good afternoon all,

I am a new Yammer user and am having difficulties posting on behalf of the administrator (my boss). He already made me a delegate so that I could start posting on his behalf, but I am having trouble figuring out how to actually create the post on his behalf. I would appreciate any advice on this matter, thanks!

1) Go to the community.
2) Click into the Post Editor
3) Switch to the other person
4) Create your post and submit

Note that if you're trying to create an announcement, you must be an admin in the community, as well as the person who you're posting on behalf of.
Thank you so much for the response! The admin had saved me as a delegate, however I am having a difficult time finding where the "post editor" is. I am thinking that we may not have saved myself as the delegate correctly and will double check on that process. I appreciate all of the information that you have posted!
"post editor" is the box you type into to make a new discussion post, question, poll, or praise.

e.g. watch this video at the 1 min mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrSG7Pw5_BE

If you've been granted delegation rights the toggle between your account and the other person is at the top of the box you type into.
