I've seen few topics regarding rich texting or even markdown in this forum.
My company will improve the use of yammer as a discussion place and internal howto platform.
It could be very very great in case yammer can support rich texting (more than right now) or even complete markdown.
Do you have any plan on supporting it in the future?
