Locking a thread

A feature we'd welcome would be the ability to close a thread to additional posts. This is useful within a YamJam - as its a fixed time frame. Also when a thread has lead to a natural conclusion or when the nature of the thread means it needs to be closed.

@Ray HarrisonThanks for the suggestion. This is something we have heard feedback on before. Could you share examples of threads you envision closing on a YamJam? OR when you say the nature of the thread means it needs to be closed? Thanks

Some examples:
- Ending a Q&A thread after a Town Hall
- Help desk-like conversations
- Conversations that need to be taken offline
- It could also be used into the archiving a group process(https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Yammer-AMA/Archive-vs-delete-a-group/m-p/748145#M873).

One risk I see would if a thread is closed and someone else discovers it in search and find it useful or wants to add information. Would need to be an option to open again or request from group admin.

@Ayesha_Mascarenhas YamJam was a bit misleading. The idea was if the YamJam is a fixed time that when the time ends, no new posts can be added. The behaviour to encourage is the hosts of the YamJam revisit to respond to any new questions or replies. 

We've had threads where we've been asked to keep the conversation visible but close it to new posts or replies with a last post being from a particular department giving the company policy point or guidance on a question. Sometimes we've seen conversations that need to be drawn to a close but deleting it would give the wrong message.
