I have been working on multiple chapters of a larger piece across multiple documents- I've come to the stage where I now want to combine them, but when I copy across a section it only pastes the text and reference numbers, not the actual references themselves.
This is a recent problem- I know that in the past I have been able to copy my references across the numbers adjust automatically.
