Word 365 display issue when Windows display is scaled

Hi all, I have an annoying Word bug that I'm wondering if anyone has a fix for. I have an ultrawide high-res monitor that I use for work and I keep the display settings in Windows scaled to 150%. I am running Windows 10, on a Dell desktop with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER graphics card, and a Dell P3421W monitor, attached via HDMI. I just made sure all the drivers and firmware are up-to-date as of yesterday, and I am running the most recent version of Office 365 available through the university.

When I am using Word and open the find/replace pop-up window, the window has a lot of extra gray-space "padding". If I click anywhere on the screen that isn't in the find/replace window, the gray space gets bigger. If I click more than once it continues to enlarge. Sometimes it will push the top of the find/replace window off the top of the screen. If I click the More/Less button that will resize the window to normal, but clicking somewhere in the document increases the size again. This only happens when I have my display scaling set above 100% in Windows. (I have Windows 10 managed by the university where I work).

I have a video I made showing the bug in action but I don't know if I'm allowed to share links here. If I can, I'll share a YouTube video so people can see what I'm talking about.

I have already tried changing a bunch of the compatibility settings and high DPI options for Word; none of them fix the problem. Changing "Override High DPI Scaling" to application makes the find/replace window look DIFFERENT but the bug behavior still occurs.
