On a fresh install of Microsoft 365 (formerly known as Office 365) on up-to-date Windows 11, I have observed unusual behavior from Word 365. These are the behaviors I have observed:
1- Sometimes I will type a word on my keyboard, and the letters of the word will not appear on my screen until several seconds later;
2- sometimes when copying and pasting text within the same document, the text appears to paste twice until I click my mouse, and then the second appearance of the text vanishes; and
3- sometimes when copying and pasting text within the same document, a jumble of unrelated characters will appear alongside the pasted text until I click my mouse, and then the unrelated characters vanish.
I have only observed this behavior in Word 365. I have not observed it - yet - in Excel 365 and OneNote 365; and I have not observed this or similar behavior in any other Windows 11 app that I have.
I'll add that all my Word documents are stored locally. I do not use OneDrive with Microsoft 365, and the Windows 11 OneDrive app is removed.
What might be causing this strange behavior, and how can I correct it? Many thanks for your help.
