Restricting Cells In Windows - Why Can't I Centre The Information In The Cell

I'm creating a Word Document which is a Checklist. I've had to insert drop down lists in the Top Cells but I can't get the information to centre within the cell (for aesthetic reasons). I've tried all the centering options I know but none will work. I don't know if I explained this clearly.


Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Centering will not work if you have restricted editing for filling in forms.
Is that the method you are using?
You cannot center text inside a plain text content control. You can, however, center the Content Control, itself, inside a Word table cell.
