Remove Nonexistent Font Saved as Current

Copper Contributor

I typed "Myriad Pro bold" into the fonts drop down, received the below dialogue, and hit "Yes" without realizing Word doesn't store Myriad Pro Bold as a separate font. Instead you just select "Myriad Pro" and the Bold option.

Now, because I selected "Yes," I have a nonexistent "Myriad Pro bold" font saved into the drop down that populates if I type "Myriad Pro Bold." It's substituted with another font; I'm not sure which one, it looks like something similar to Calibri.

Is there any way I can remove my annoying goof up from Word? Since Word doesn't recognize "Myriad Pro bold" as a real font, it's not saved into Windows fonts, so I can't delete it from there.

I'm using Word for Microsoft 365. Thanks!

@Anthony1985 Select the Myriad Pro Bold (words) in the list and then right click and then click on Cut
