Recovering previous autosaved document

Hello. 
I was close to finishing a uni assignment, when my computer shutdown unexpectedly. When I restarted the document I was working on had reverted back to the first version I saved. This is despite auto save being on. Unfortunately, I am not connected to One Drive, or 356. Have I lost my assignment? I am crossing my fingers that someone can help. Thanks.

@RJohns1210  Go to File>Info>Manage Document>Recover Unsaved Documents and see it there is a copy of your document there.
