I am trying to convert a .doc document to pdf on Word, but when I do that parts of it (many tables and even chunks of text) disappear. Other non-Mac Word users face the same problem when opening the file on Word, so I guess mine must be a problem of formatting within this specific file (even though the stylesheet was provided by the press editors...). The file is 500+ pages and I do not have the time to reformat it from scratch: is there any other way to deal with this problem? Thanks for the help!
