Pasting text into a word table

Copper Contributor

I have a table created in Word 2019 Japanese version. The font for the text in the table has been changed from the default (e.g. Century 11pt) to a different font (e.g. Times New Roman 9pt).

I want to paste the data calculated with Excel into this table. If I copy the data in only one cell from Excel and paste it to that Word table in "Keep Text Only" mode, of course, the formatting information of the cell will be retained (still in Times New Roman 9pt) and only the value can be rewritten.

However, if I select multiple cells (e.g., 1 column and 4 rows) in the table, copy the same shape of data from Excel, and then paste it in "Keep Text Only" mode as well, the font for these cells reverts to the default font (Century 11pt).
