Navigate around the ribbon using links shortcut on Mac

Copper Contributor

The feature is explained here in a youtube video
I've seen this feature around where when you press the alt key (in Windows) links(letters and numbers) appears on the ribbon under all items and when you can press a button (letter/number) it basically clicks the corresponding item under the ribbon. Is there anyone who knows how to get this feature on Mac?

Many Windows users find this to be a nuisance. If available, there is no way to turn this off.

Word for the Mac is a different program than Word for Windows.

You can use the Feedback mechanism in Word to ask Microsoft to add this, but do not expect a response nor quick action.

Thank for the response Charles, well it might be a nuisance to others but such feature would be very beneficial to me and other people who want to reduce the amount of time they spend going back and forth between the mouse and keyboard. Any ways I found a solution via a third-party app. If anyone is interested the app is called Homerow.
Thank you Charles, I Will surely take a look
