I have had this problem before with word and now is getting out of hand. Every time I keep updating the ‘table of figures’ at the beginning of my document, it keeps making duplicate entries. I have no idea why this is happening and have done a numerous amount of searching and I still don’t know what the issue is.
Is there a way to get rid of the duplicate captions because I’m currently working on a big document and I can’t afford to go through every figure caption remove the incorrect caption. I have placed diagrams for reference.
