Form Fields Blank in Word 2016

I have a form that when I open in Word 2016, the fields are blank, but when I open it in Word 2010, they are filled in.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

Hi Alison I'll chime in given this one looks to have been quiet for a while now. I suspect it to be a technological difference that makes it work in one and not the other. I would suggest having a look at: 1. Checking the field properties in Word 2016 to see if they are truly blank 2. Saving the file as a template file to always give a blank version. 3. Another option of saving the form as an Adobe Acrobat (PDF) form to fill in. Hoping you find an answer to your question soon. Cheers Damien
