Divider Sheets in Word and Header Links

Hi all 

 

I need your help I am trying to add the following I would also like the Divider Sheet Headings to link to the next Details sheets so for example the Client information divider sheet header would be linked to Client information details header - both would have the same name.  Maybe different styles.

Page 1 Coversheet

Page 2 TOC

Page 3 Divider Sheet - Client Information

Page 4 Client Information Details

Page 5 Divider Sheet - Executive Summary

Page 6 Executive Summary Details

Page 7 Divider Sheet - Project Scope

Page 8 Project Scope Details

Hello @Liz_Cummins ,

this is quite easy, and you have two options how to do that.

Option one: you insert a table in your divider page to create the divider page. You should use a style that has the outline level set as "Body text" and a true header style on the next page to keep the TOC page numbering and its references correct (someone may want to delete the divider....).

Second one: use the building blocks: Insert → Quick Parts → Building Block Organizer. There you can choose from existing, or create your own one.
