I have a document that has been proofed by several people and some quote marks have changed to straight. Searching internet and forums I am directed to the file tab and then to select proofing. My word for mac 2016 did not have a file tab (far left tab is Home)- nor proofing options. (at least not in the places shown) So I have upgraded to the latest word for mac 365 (version of today 15 June 2020). Same problem.
So - I decided to go the long way around and manually enter curly quotes (required by publisher) - but new quotes typed are not curly - and when cutting and pasting a curly quote into find and replace - it pastes a straight quote. This is "doing my head in". Could someone offer a solution please?
