Cannot right-align all matrix columns at once

Summary: I cannot right-align all columns of a matrix in an equation at once.

System information: I am using Microsoft Word version 16.53 on macOS.

General explanation of what is happening:

Let us say that I have an Equation that contains a matrix, and let us say I wish to right-align the columns of the matrix.

If I select the matrix, right-click the selected matrix, and click Column Alignment -> Right, then only the rightmost column becomes right-aligned, which is not ideal as one would expect that all columns become right-aligned.

For every other column, I have to individually go to an entry or element of each column and perform the previous steps (right-click and click Column Alignment -> Right). So, it works on an individual basis but not an aggregate basis, unfortunately.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a new Word document.
2. Insert an equation.
3. In the equation, create a 3 x 3 matrix.
4. Fill the top row with 1 2 3.
5. Fill the middle row with -1 -2 -3.
6. Fill the bottom row with 1 2 3.
7. Select the matrix, excluding any grouping symbols such as brackets, parentheses, vertical bars, etc.
8. Right-click on the selected matrix.
9. Hover over the Column Alignment option, and then click on the Right option.
10. Notice that only the third column (the rightmost column) has been right aligned. The other columns must be right aligned individually.
