AutoCorrect with formatted text - Prevent Word to add a carriage return

Hi all,

I am using the AutoCorrect feature to, for example replace

!h

With

the Heart symbol of card games (colored in red then I revert to black font) followed by a space.

It works like a charm EXCEPT that word add a carriage return.

Though I have two hit backspace twice to return right after the replacement.

Does anyone knows how to prevent that to happen ?

I am using Microsoft 365 on Windows 10 OS.

I have tried plain text but the color issue comes up.

A zillion thank you in advance if you could provide me with a solution.

Press the Spacebar rather than the Enter key to insert the AutoText.
