Allowing table to break across a page

Copper Contributor

I have a very long two column table in Word that continues over many pages.

I feel like I could reduce the total number of pages it spans if the table could split on the same page (by having a table continue on the right hand side) before starting a new page.

How would I go about doing this?

(image of the current situation, I would like the table to to continue not on a new page but first on the same page)

You can change the document to two column newspaper layout, if that helps. The table would continue in the second column on each page before it goes to the next page.

That's done the trick - thank you Stefan!
