Adding a "next page break" adds my cover image to the next page

Copper Contributor

Hey folks!

I have a problem while trying to add a landscape page to one document.

This document has a cover page set up. The issue is that when I try to add a "next page break" it adds the style of the cover page to the new one.

You can see the sequence in these images:

Does anyone know how to get rid of that cover page style in between? Thx in advance!

That is because the image is in the Header or Footer and you have started a new section.

Try, in the new page, unchecking the option for Different First Page or the option to Link to Previous. If you uncheck Link to Previous, delete the image in the new section.

You may also want to look at Cover Page Anomalies.

Thank you so much. That solved it!
