In our latest project the customer had the great idea of auto scaling. I tumbled along and found something like this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/set-up-scaling-script Which is imho "only" a better start/stop schedule for already existing VMs in a host pool. But what about creating/deleting machines?
We're currently in a pre-flight mode and can't see the maximum amount of users who will use the services. Some automation to at least create new machines as soon as all host pool machines are filled would be nice.
Same scenario but slightly different topic: I already had a look to some preview features like "Start VM on first logon". Is there any news regarding this and will it be limited to personal pools only or is there a chance to use it in multi-session pools as well?
