Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktop - Outlook Contact and Calendar Search not working

Hello everyone,

Microsoft has adjusted the search with Windows 10 Multi User and Windows Server 1809.

The search index is now saved in the user profile.

Since this adjustment it is no longer possible to search contacts and calendars in Outlook. There are no hits.

The mail search in Outlook is not affected. It is independent of FSLogix. It also happens with local profiles.

Is there a solution to fix this error? Or at least a workaround?

 

The only possibility so far is to deactivate the new search feature via the registry and to use machine-based indexing.
