WSUS Best Practices

Brass Contributor

I would like to know if there are any best practices to use WSUS to deploy Updates to Win10 Clients and Server 2012-2019? We always have issues with slow WSUS Console, too much Updates approved, Updates cleanup and so on.

Currently we work with several 3rd party scripts. but we think there sould be solutions from microsoft?

@Martin Wildi  check out https://www.ajtek.ca/wam/what-is-wsus-automated-maintenance/  it really helps to keep WSUS/Windows 10 happy.  I know it's another third party script but it doesn't appear that Microsoft is focusing on WSUS, instead they are focusing on Intune/non premises patching
