Windows 10 Enterprise degrading to Pro and DA disappears

Copper Contributor

Can someone summarize the case where client Windows 10 Enterprise joined to an on-prem Active Directory with Direct Access, suddenly(?) degrades to Pro-edition and Direct Access (partly) disappears from the computer.

Some are restored by entering MAK-key with DISM / Slmgr /ipk <MAK-key>, some not.

Some are restored by connecting to on-prem network with connection to DC's and update GPO's, some not

Some stays on Enterprise edition, but still looses DA and it will not restart/re-install.
