Feature Update deployment with WUFB

Iron Contributor

Hi, how can we make sure that a device really has a feature update deployment scheduled on the device itself (not in the Intune portal) to help in the troubleshooting where we have devices that don't get upgraded to the build we've selected and Update Compliance logs don't give out any errors.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Stephane,
When the feature update report shows a device in either Scheduled or OfferReady, that is coming from the Windows Update for Business deployment service after it's been validated and confirmed to be enrolled. So the report in Intune accurately reflects the state of the service.

To ensure you are receiving device telemetry, which provides the On Device status of OfferReceived, Download, Install, and Restart Required, as well as events, ensure you have a Windows Health Monitoring configuration profile that includes the Windows Update Scope: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/protect/windows-update-compliance-reports#configure-data...
