It happend to me too. I was able to run Windows Update via sconfig, but I was not able to install the system drivers, that needed to be installed on by one via the GUI of Windows Update, in order to get installed and not become permanently unavailable to the Windows installation. This driver issue is pretty old, but somewhat manageable. Yet, without the GUI of WIndows Update, it become un-manageable.
