Is RDMA supported for 2022 Servers

Copper Contributor

Since I will be moving my AD to a 2022 server, I wanted to make sure that RDMA is operational for the 2022 server as well. Since I have found on the Microsoft site only info up to version 2019, I wanted to ask if anyone of you knows?

Thanks for the inquiry. Yes, Windows Server 2022 absolutely supports RDMA. It's a critical technology used by storage such as SMB Direct. You can learn more about SMB Direct here:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/file-server/smb-direct

Please note the article specifically states support for Windows Server 2022.

If you can also share the URL where it still says only Windows Server 2019, I can get that fixed.
Hi Jeff

I see now that there is a misstake in my question. I wanted to ask about RMAD and not RDMA.
Do you know if RMAD is also supported with server version 2k22?
I don't know what RMAD is please provide a URL
