Currently any in-place upgrade will automatically enable any - deliberately - disabled network adapters. This will causes unwanted side-effects.
Windows Setup should recognize the state and migrate this, as it does with NIC settings / IP settings, too.
- multiple connections
- multiple IP / ambiguous DNS registration
- misrouting
