Anyone else having a problem clean installing 25083?

Brass Contributor

I just downloaded the latest ISO for today's 25083 Server preview build. I did the SAME thing by going to one of my Hyper-V VMs, configuring it to boot from DVD, and putting in this ISO as the boot ISO. When I press a key, it never loads the normal Windows Setup screen, it goes to a recovery window.

Anyone else? Thanks.

For what it's worth, I was able to do an in-place upgrade from 25075 to 25083.
Just doing a quick test trying to boot from the ISO, a Gen 1 VM seems to work, but a Gen 2 VM refuses to boot.

Yes, the ISO won't boot for me too.

But upgrade, or booting from older ISO and then starting the installation from the new ISO, or deploying through dism, works.

Defrag doesn't work for me in this build, but that's whole different story.
I was able to make an installation USB drive using Rufus. Already clean install made.
