Windows Server In-Place Upgrades

Does Microsoft advocate in-place upgrades when upgrading Windows Server? Are there any reasons not to do it?

@Kurt Mackie Hi Kurt,

Yes, in Windows Server 2019 we did extensive work and testing of In-place Upgrades (more than ever before).  We can confidently stand behind doing In-place Upgrades from WS2016 --> WS2019.  So go for it!
