Asking for input here. We have VL's for Windows 2019 Datacenter and we are currently running many servers in a VM environment. We are also using a Third Party Antivirus in that environment and I am wondering if I am already licensed to use the Windows Defender that is installed with the Server or must I purchase licensing separate for its use? I have contacted a reseller and well they are not very clear on the licensing of it. Stating I must have 50 user licenses min for EndPoint just to license the servers???
Asking for clarifications. Yes reseller also has the questions.
