Have a production server with Windows Server 2019 Essentials. I am unable to apply any cumulative updates, which fail consistently with error 0x800F0982. Most recently KB5007206
I have attempted downloading the update and installing manually, with no success.
I have also cleared out the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder, with no success.
I also followed the adivce here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-server-for-it-pro/windows-server-2019-cumulative-upda... removing the latest cumulative update, and then installing the latest available Service Pack Update (KB5005112). Still no success.
I'm unable to find any other suggestions in the forums for what to try next. Any help is appreciated.
