Scheduled backup job does not finish never.

i, I have a backup scheduled through the task scheduler but on several occasions the backup has not finished. In the task view it stays at the "Action started" point but does not progress. Here you can see that nothing happens afterwards.

This would be a normal trace: 

Nowhere can I find any error logs, the events say everything is correct.

It is on a windows server 2019.

What backup software? The built-in Windows Backup?

Yes.

I have changed the port usb to test if the error can come from there. Because of the built-in Windows backup states that it was executed correctly but in the event viewer not.

In the second screenshot it starts and stops immediately... Nothing in the eventlog under "Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\Windows\Backup" ? Or in c:\windows\logs?
