Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I'm trying to setup a demo environment for presentations using Windows Server 2019 Datacenter in Azure. The presentation is mainly to show how a virtual appliance runs within Hyper-V.
The installation is fine, I've added DC/AD roles and promoted the server (no DNS or DHCP roles needed). Hyper-V is installed, and the VA launches fine, but is unable to get an IP address from DHCP. Now I'm not an IT expert, but I assumed the Hyper-V would have shared the network connection the host OS is using. This works in VMWare Fusion; installed Windows 2019, Hyper-V VM launches and connects to the internet normally with no DHCP or DNS roles.
Please advise, and let me know what you will need from me to gather information. Much appreciated!!
