Restore Full Server Backup on different server

Hi Team,

We have Full Server Backup in place and would like to restore the same on different server. What are the pre-requisite to take into consideration before restoring full server backup on new server in terms of hardware or software?

Do we need to make sure it matches the configuration of backup server like hard disk size and number of hard disk attached, OS version, Drivers installed, CPU or RAM configuration as per the backup server?

What backup solution are you using?
The hardware configuration is not a big issue but when you have more powerful device, the process if faster. Sometimes you might have compatibility issue with old hardware. It is better to use the same version of backup and restore program in both sides.
