Purchased 48 Core Datacenter License but only can activate 9 servers. What am I doing wrong?

Dear MS Community,

I have purchased Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Licenses on 48 cores.

I could activate 9 VMs of Windows 2019 Datacenter. After 9 VMs I have got the error message 0xC004C020. I have checke my Activation center and O365 admin portal and I cannot get a new MAK key. My microsoft VAR which i purchased the license from cannot answer the question.

Microsoft support sent me the picture above:

Dou you have anything in mind how to solve this one?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

How are you activating? Since the host is DataCenter the simplest solution is to use AVMA keys.

@Dave Patrick

As far as I am concerned I cannot use AVMA on a proxmox virtualised VM.

I convert from Eval to Datacenter then activating with MAK.

Is it possible to make it with AVMA as well?

Or is it possible to extend my MAK?

May need to ask the vendor about this

 Simpler solution is to use licensed media to install the operating system, but yes once it is converted then you can switch over to AVMA

Just checking if there's any progress or updates?
