I would like to report a bug with Windows Server 2022. Currently we have problems with the "LogonNotify.exe".
Problem: After analyzing all traces recorded, we found that Microsoft Terminal Service does not call LogonNotify() on the first reconnection and therefore when disconnecting the reconnected session RPM sends a termination notification to the broker instead of a disconnection notification.
The LogonNotify call should be triggered by Microsoft Terminal Service - and we have seen a few cases with similar pattern recently. Hence the recommendation to ask Microsoft to find out why there is no LogonNotify during reconnection. This error only occurs with Windows Server 2022.
