LENGTH AND LOCK WHEN LOADING FILES - WINDOWS SERVER 2016

Copper Contributor

Hello,
Sorry if I'm posting this question in the wrong place.

I have a file server - Windows Server 2016 virtualized in Azure.

It was working normally, but since the afternoon of 06/28/2019 it has been slow to access the shared folders. When it arrives at the file and clicks to open it it locks the Windows Explorer of the client machine, forcing the user to restart its micro, in the case of Windows 10.

There was no network change and no manual interference on the server, only Windows Update downloading the automatic updates. The updates were the KB4493470 and KB4503537 security and KB4091664 Windows update.

Could you help me with this problem?

A similar troubleshooting that I found on the network was this but does not apply as it is for 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2957623/cannot-access-shared-files-or-folders-on -a-drive-in-windows-server-201

Reis Tiago
