Java Process and Windows Services

Copper Contributor

Hi Team,

We have a Windows 2012 R2 Server with Oracle Products (Java Web applications) installed and Configured. When I expand the java process in the task manager, I could see some of the Windows services like "Windows Policy Platform Local Authority" and "Windows Modules Installer" associated with the same. I will attach the screenshot of the same. Ideally this java process should only show the associated Windows Services which is used to start this service. After these services gets associated with the Java process, in a while I can see the application performance been impacted and the applications starts to run slow and sometime crashes. We end up restarting this Java process. I have not noticed this in the past and hence requesting some assistance to understand this behavior.

Thank you.

I'd also ask here about Java processes expected behavior.
