Folder Permission

I'm currently running a server 2008 R2 on a vspehre environment and currently having issues on trying to access any of the shared folders that's on a D drive.

Our file server is hooked up on a domain and other users can access their specific folders however when I create a test folder and try to map it on my laptop of on other users, it gives the below error message even though I've added myself to the folder with full permissions:

And the share permissions are? You can give all the NTFS permissions you want, but if the Share itself has no permissions for you...
