Adding disks to storage pool?

Copper Contributor

When the storage pool was created, all of the available bays of the JBOD were populated with physical disks, and space on the disks was used as part of the storage pool.

Since the original pool creation, one of the disks has failed and needs to be replaced because the pool status is shown as "degraded".

Will Windows storage spaces allow the failed, physical disk to be removed and then replaced with a new disk? Will windows allow the new disk to be "added" to the existing pool and then "remove" the old disk (which no longer physically exists within the JBOD enclosure)?

Thank you.
