I have to migrate 400 workstations and several servers from one AD to another.
Problem: I don't have control over the AD in use ...
I just have control over the OUs of my users / PCs / Groups. I can't connect the new AD to the forest.
So it's very problematic for the migration of rights and group members.
I was able to easily import users and groups with powershell scripts but is there a way to retrieve the members of each group, and the rights of each file server folder?
Because the names of the groups are identical, but the SIDs obviously not.
If you have some solutions :)
